We’ve got another tip for our Lexington and Richmond KY customers.
Kool-Aid and Red Wine.
Anyone with children (or anyone who enjoys a nice glass of wine after a long day) understands how frustrating these stains can be. They are no fun to discover or get out. But have no fear. We have some ideas that will “aid” in this process.
Firstly, the faster you can sop up excess liquid, the easier it will be to clean. This prevents the stain from reaching the carpet pad and creating a deeper problem. Secondly, never scrub the stains, this can ultimately make the stain worse or damage your carpet. Always blot with a clean and dry white towel. When you have removed as much as you can with a dry towel, try this mixture:
- ¼ Cup White Vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon Dawn Dish Soap
Put in a spray bottle and fill with water. Spray the mixture liberally on the spill and allow five to ten minutes for the mixture to work. Grab a new clean, dry white towel and begin blotting again until your mess disappears.
